Reimagining Adolescent Well-being: Defining and Measuring Flourishing in U.S., and Indonesian Contexts
The adaptation of a validated measure of flourishing (Instrument Flourishing Adolescent Scale, I-FAS) that can be used with youth in diverse settings. The project includes developing and testing the measure among Black U.S. youth living in metro Detroit and Indonesian youth ages 12 to 19 currently enrolled in school.
The findings will provide a new measure and outcome of interest - one that moves toward strengths and assets. In addition, the global partnership will provide cross-cultural insights, and opportunities to develop interventions or action-based strategies that not only have local, but global impact for adolescents.

Flourishing Futures Collaborative
In partnership with Healthy Teen Network, a working group that includes teen/young parents, researchers and practitioners interested in addressing systemic issues faced by teen/young parents.
